Freeform Pools

Designed by Nature, Built with Precision

A freeform pool brings an organic, sculpted elegance to outdoor living—where every curve feels like it belongs. Unlike rigid geometric designs, freeform pools follow the natural rhythm of your landscape, blending effortlessly with tropical foliage, winding paths, and relaxed outdoor architecture. At All Aqua Pools, we approach each custom pool installation as a collaboration between form and function—shaping the water to suit both your space and your lifestyle.

The design appeal of a freeform pool lies in its fluidity. Whether it mimics a tranquil lagoon or a rolling shoreline, this style offers visual softness and creative freedom. It invites customization: rock waterfalls, beach entries, sunken spas, and integrated planters all find a natural home within its shape. Perfect for homeowners seeking a more relaxed and immersive luxury pool design, the freeform aesthetic delivers both beauty and a sense of escape—ideal for those who want their backyard to feel like a private retreat.

Beyond the curves and contours, freeform pools are built for longevity. Each project is engineered with durable materials, reinforced shells, and advanced hydraulic systems designed to support complex forms and integrated features. Whether nestled into a sloped yard or wrapped around a central patio, your installation will be structurally sound, water-efficient, and built to perform—season after season.

Freeform pools are ideal for properties with irregular lot lines, natural elevation changes, or clients looking for a more relaxed, custom feel. They’re also a standout choice for remodeling projects that aim to soften the lines of a previously rigid or underwhelming backyard layout. With All Aqua Pools, every freeform design is intentional—from the sweeping entry points to the smallest planted nook—crafted to reflect how you live, unwind, and connect with your surroundings.

Freeform Pools: Fluid Luxury, Naturally Inspired

Let your backyard flow with custom curves, organic lines, and design that bends to your lifestyle.

Escape rigid design—our freeform pool installations are sculpted to reflect nature, movement, and pure relaxation.

Features & Capabilities of Freeform Pools

Freeform pools are designed for those who want their outdoor space to feel natural, fluid, and entirely custom. These pools break free from geometric boundaries—embracing curves, soft lines, and landscape integration that mimic the feel of a private oasis. Here are the defining features that make this pool style as functional as it is visually immersive:

While freeform pools appear effortless, the engineering behind them is anything but. The irregular contours, integrated features, and landscaping components require deep expertise in custom pool installation, structural planning, and long-term system balance. At All Aqua Pools, we bring artistry and precision together through:

Contour-specific circulation systems designed to maintain even flow across winding shapes and multi-depth zones

Variable-speed pumps and return configurations calibrated for dynamic features like waterfalls, grottos, and spa spillovers

Reinforced structural shells engineered for curved forms and custom elevations

Drainage and waterproofing strategies tailored to uneven terrain, planting zones, and water-adjacent hardscapes

Permitting expertise for backyard builds involving artificial rockwork, slope regrading, or near-wetland setbacks

Equipment placement planning to ensure discreet integration with landscaping and noise mitigation for waterfalls or spas

A freeform pool installation is a harmonious blend of artistry and engineering. With All Aqua Pools, your pool is shaped not just for beauty, but for performance—so you can enjoy every ripple, every view, and every curve, knowing it’s all built to endure.

Optional Add-Ons for Your Freeform Pool Installation

A freeform pool already evokes the feeling of natural luxury—but with the right enhancements, it becomes a fully immersive retreat that looks effortless and runs like clockwork. At All Aqua Pools, we offer select upgrades that complement the organic beauty of a freeform design while enhancing its performance, cleanliness, and convenience.

Effortless Cleaning with the PCC2000 In-Floor System
Organic curves and beach entries are stunning—but notoriously difficult to clean with traditional tools. That’s why we recommend the PENTAIR PCC2000 in-floor cleaning system. This discreet network of retractable jets circulates debris toward central drains, keeping your pool clean with minimal visual disruption and virtually no manual effort.

Dynamic Circulation with Variable-Speed Pumps
Freeform pools often feature multiple depths, waterfalls, and curved zones that benefit from adaptive circulation. Our variable-speed pumps offer whisper-quiet, energy-efficient flow control—perfect for maintaining consistent water quality and supporting high-performance filtration systems, without overextending your energy use.

Seamless Control with Smart Pool Automation
From waterfalls to LED lighting to filtration cycles, managing a freeform pool doesn’t have to be complicated. With pool automation, every element of your system is at your fingertips—accessible via app or smart controller. Schedule your features, fine-tune circulation, and let the system do the work while you enjoy the experience.

Structural Enhancements That Elevate the Environment
To complete the natural aesthetic, many clients choose to integrate structural upgrades that align with the freeform design. Options like natural rock waterfalls, hidden grottos, curved stone decking, and garden walls reinforce the lagoon-like feel while offering functional benefits such as shade, privacy, or elevation transitions.

These features are custom-engineered to work with your pool’s footprint and surrounding landscape, ensuring both beauty and performance remain in harmony.Every one of these enhancements is selected to align with your vision—bringing together nature-inspired luxury with invisible engineering. With All Aqua Pools, your freeform pool installation isn’t just shaped to impress—it’s designed to thrive.

Why Choose a Freeform Pool for Your Home

Choosing a freeform pool is about more than aesthetics—it’s about creating an outdoor environment that flows with your land, your lifestyle, and your sense of escape. Whether you’re planning a brand-new custom pool installation or embarking on a backyard remodeling project, this pool style offers a perfect blend of natural beauty, functional versatility, and lasting property value.

Freeform pools increase home value by introducing an organic design element that feels sculptural and inviting. Their curved shapes and soft edges create visual movement across your outdoor space, making even modest yards feel expansive and immersive. For homeowners thinking about resale, a thoughtfully designed freeform pool is a high-impact feature that enhances curb appeal and draws attention in the luxury real estate market.

Because of their fluid form, freeform pools integrate effortlessly into complex or irregular lot layouts. They’re especially well-suited for properties with elevation changes, surrounding vegetation, or outdoor spaces that demand a more relaxed, nature-driven aesthetic. This design flexibility allows for creative pool remodeling solutions—transforming outdated or angular layouts into serene, lagoon-inspired sanctuaries.

From a performance standpoint, freeform pools can be engineered to maintain exceptional water clarity and circulation, even with dynamic contours and multiple depths. With modern equipment and expert hydraulic design, features like waterfalls, sun shelves, and hidden benches don’t just add visual appeal—they function seamlessly as part of a well-calibrated system.

For homeowners who value privacy, visual softness, and a connection to nature, freeform pools provide an atmosphere that feels both luxurious and grounded. They invite relaxation, spark imagination, and offer daily enjoyment in a setting that feels like it was carved specifically for you. When you choose All Aqua Pools for your freeform pool installation or remodeling, you’re choosing craftsmanship that honors the land—and elevates every moment spent in it.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. All Aqua Pools just completed the installation of a pool at my home and the service and workmanship was outstanding. It was finished on budget and ahead of time. Chris and Scott, who managed the various stages of the construction, were on site every day to check that the work was being done to their high standard, inquire if I had any concerns, and answer all my questions. I sent Scott a text last Saturday morning at 7:30am with a question about the pool pump because pool school does not start for me until this week and I am a first time pool owner. He called me immediately, had me check the pump monitor, and then explained that the pump was operating as designed. That is a level of service that is simply exceptional. After speaking with and pricing the installation with a number of other pool contractors, my wife and I could not be happier that we chose All Aqua Pools.

Update: My post-pool completion experience with All Aqua has caused me to drop a star from the rating I initially gave them. It has been close to two months since Scott identified a crack in one of the coping stones. Scott and Chris have unfortunately left the company and this outstanding item on the punch list has been communicated to three other employees at All Aqua. While I have been contacted twice to make the final payment, no one has contacted me to replace the cracked stone.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. These guys were able to make a pool fit in a pretty tight spot. Wasn’t sure they’d be able to make it, but they did and they even put down ground coverings so they didn’t mess anything up on the way to my site.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I highly recommend All Aqua pools. I recently had another company do a leak detection inspection and charge me $350. They proposed a repair that would hacost me $2k when the inspection fee was included. I called All Aqua for a second opinion and from Eileen in the office to Scotty who came out to inspect the issue I couldn't have been treated better. So honest. Scotty fixed the leak the same day for less than $175!!! I would not hesitate to use or recommend this trustworthy company to anyone. Thank you All Aqua Pools!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Worked closely with Michelle and Eileen from All Aqua Pools. They are a great company - stand by the word and made sure everything goes well. They went out of their way to make sure that permitting process was seamless - i did not have to get involved at all and was kept informed of the process all the time.

HIGHLY Recommended!

What You Need To Know

Check out some key peices of information that you need to know before building your dream pool with All Aqua Pools.

What happens during the design consultation?

Our design consultation is a detailed, two-part process with one of our experienced staff members and designers. In the first meeting, we evaluate your backyard layout using your provided property survey, measure access points, and discuss your vision, needs, and budget. We then use this information to create a custom 3D design. During the second meeting, we present the design in your home, make adjustments if needed, and provide final proposal documents. This is followed by color selections and permit preparation.

Do you offer financing options for custom pools?

Yes, we do. All Aqua Pools proudly partners with Lyon Financial, a trusted leader in swimming pool financing since 1979. They offer tailored loan programs specifically for inground pool projects, with features designed to make your backyard investment more accessible. There’s no impact on your credit to check your rate, and the pre-approval process is quick and hassle-free. Whether you’re building a standard pool or a high-end custom design, financing through Lyon helps you move forward with confidence.

How long does it take to build a pool from start to finish?

Once your permit is approved — which can take 1 to 4 weeks depending on your municipality — construction begins with the dig. From there, your pool is typically completed and filled within 4 to 8 weeks, depending on project size and selected features. We start the pool systems right away and guide you through Pool School before handing everything over.

What kind of warranty do you offer?

We use only premium-grade equipment from trusted brands like StaRite. All pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems, lights, and salt chlorine generators come with a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty, fully backed by our team. If anything goes wrong within that period, repairs or replacements are covered at no cost to you. For more information get in touch with a member of our team.
